Armed with handmade, illuminated signs that read #LETUSSERVE, Service Year Alliance volunteers and community teams will mobilize around iconic locations and beloved local landmarks sending a clear message to policymakers. Light brigade actions will take place the week of July 29th-August 6th — just weeks before the FY18 budget deadline — creating a spark of momentum that cascades across the country during the first week of August recess. We’ll amplify the action by sending photos to target members of Congress and local reporters.
