Tell Congress: Don't let national service go extinct! 

President Trump's FY18 budget proposes to eliminate the Corporation for National and Community Service — the federal agency that oversees AmeriCorps. If this proposal becomes reality, national service as we know it could go extinct. 

This would mean that the 65,000 Americans currently doing a year of national service with AmeriCorps — who are supporting veterans, fighting the opioid epidemic, providing critical employment services, bridging divides in our country, and increasing access to higher education — will vanish from our local communities. We can’t let this disastrous scenario become reality.
