As the Program Associate for the Service Year Exchange, Anna supports all Exchange efforts through assisting in certification reviews, quality assurance testing and customer support. Through her role at Service Year Alliance, she has had the opportunity to continue her deepened commitment to service and personal interest in inspiring young Americans to positively impact their communities. Prior to Service Year Alliance, Anna graduated from East Carolina University where she pursued a Bachelor of Science in Communications-Public Relations. During her time in college, she served as an Ameriprise Fellow and Student Leader for various on-campus volunteer food recovery and service organizations. Upon relocating to Washington, D.C., Anna served as an AmeriCorps VISTA at D.C Hunger Solutions. There she aided in strengthening the capacity building efforts of nonprofits interested in improving healthy food access across the District. In her spare time she enjoys dancing, cooking and attending music festivals.
